My Sick Little Ducklings!

Over the last week or so we have had some sick kiddos in the house! Avery started to get a cough a couple weeks ago and just started to get worse as the week went on. I also we dealing with her and the whole formula/acid reflux/poopy diaper issue! She had tried ALL three acid reflux medication and NOTHING was working, she was having VERY loose poops and always spitting up her formula! So on Tuesday of last week we took Avery to the doctors and her doctor decided to go on a NEW formula (she has a milk protien allergy), off her acid reflux medications and starting a nebulizer treatment for her cough! Her new formula is Nutramigen...HOLY CRAP IS THAT EXPENSIVE!!! I am going to go broke buying this stuff. It is crazy! But so far it seems to be working well...crossing my fingers it continues.

Then on Wednesday I got a call from Heather (daycare provider) that Madison had a fever. When it rain it pours for the girls! I know things could be much worse but it all seemed to be happening at the same time...oh the joys of more than one child :) TJ took Madison in to the doctors and she had a clean bill of health, just probably a virus. She is now on the mends and seems to be back to her self. Avery is still having a cough but we are still doing the treatments. So we will see.

The doctor also wants us to see the GI doctor to discuss her issue with eating and possible reflux! But if the formula is helping we may cancel the appointment...we will see!
