So while the guys went away the girls will play (sorta)!!! TJ, Todd and Travis and couple cousins and uncle went up north to spend the weekend fishing all day long! They loved every minute of it (thanks again Pam for letting them stay at your cabin)!!! So while the guys went and played, I packed up the car and brought myself, the girls and Brooklyn over to hang out with Mar, Shel and Sam (Dakota and Mauer too)!!!
It was a good time! On Friday night we ran a couple errands, went to Applebee's for dinner, and then Aidan and the girls came over for a sleepover. It was a crazy and fun day! The kids had fun playing together and that is all that matters! After the kids went home we ran to the store and stopped to get some fun girly adult beverages! The girls had a bath and then went to bed! Us ladies got out the scrabble board and had some drinks! It was fun just chatting like birds! Lets just say the next morning was NOT a good day for me! Thankfully we got to have a family nap!!!
After a family nap we got ready for the big super bowl party (I didn't really watch...only for the commercials)! Todd made his famous chili, Sam made deviled eggs, Chris and Shel made pickle and ham roll ups and TJ and I made taco dip! It was VERY tasty and NOT with in my diet plan but it was a good cheat day!!! The girls and I had so much fun!
It was a fun day/weekend and went by REALLY fast! Here are some pictures of our adventure of a weekend! Thanks ladies...it was memorable :)
