Happy Birthday to Miss Avery Elizabeth

I can't believe that exactly one year ago Avery Elizabeth Kvilhaug was born. I could not love anything more than my baby girl (and my big girl Madison). My children are my everything!

To Sum up the past year with Avery:

• You always keep mommy and daddy on our toes
• You make sure you are heard. You love to scream...not that pleasent and I am trying to get you to understand "SHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"
• You LOVE mashed potatoes, bananas, milk, gold fish, juice, corn or any type of cracker
• You love your sister very much and sometimes she doesn't want to share her toys with you but soon she will.
• You are not patient :) You are like your daddy
• You have a personality like no other...like your mommy
• You are very affectionate and lovey
• You do NOT like to have anything in your hair...no barretts, hair bows...anything. This does not make mommy happy. Hopefully you will get over it soon because I will continue to try daily. I don't know how many clips/barretts and binders I lose...but will continue my quest!
• You love to climb stairs despite how dangerous they can be
• You love to climb on chair and just sit there until you either cry for me to get you off or you fall off
• You say dadda, momma (a few times), cracker, owww, uhh ohh, dog (I think that is what your saying), this/dis, and just a lot of yelling.
• You love to help clean up. You are a good toy putter backer! You should teach your big sister how to do it!
• You love to dance, run, try to jump, peek-a-boo, doing soooo big
• You are not a long sleeper...like to wake up early. I think you slept till 7am one day and mommy was the happiest person in the world!
• You are a good napper, for the most of the time.
• You are not a good eater. You are a picky one. You have certain things that I know you will eat but don't like to stray away. Some days you will not eat anything and it usually ends up in a yelling match between you and I...but you end up winning ;)
• You are no longer on formula (YEAH) and you are sitting forward facing in the car! You are one happy girl!
• You are not as attached to me as you used to be...a bitter sweet thing. I am glad you will go to others but miss my baby girl. But there are times when you want your momma, especially when you get hurt and need to tell me all about it!
• You have 8 teeth...and the worst teether ever. You get sick every time you are getting teeth. You don't sleep when you get teeth. You are CRABBY baby when you get teeth. But the best part is that you are such a cuddley little thing because you just want some lovin!
• You sleep with your pacer, blankey and a stuffed animal that i think is a cow. You are not attatched to the blanket or stuffed animal but I put them in with you every day!
• You are my sunshine, my light, my little punkin butts, my amazing blue eyed baby girl. I am proud of you every day and all your doing. I can't wait for you to grow up to be just as amazing as you are...but hopefully you will sleep more :)

It has been a long, joyful, loving, stressful, exciting, happy meds for momma, sleep deprived mommy and daddy, lots of doctor visits, hair pulling, grey hair (for both mommy and daddy) and unsureness kinda year. BUT let me tell you baby girl...best year of our lives. We would never trade it for anything. Your daddy and I are lucky to have you as our daughter.

Oh and when you get older you will be reminded of how you caused momma grey hair.......hahhahaah!
