Can't believe its already been 2 years ago that Madison Jo Kvilhaug entered the world! She has been such a great baby and toddler! I can't wait to keep watching her grow up! She is such a sassy smarty pants and we love every minute of it! We are excited to start the day! In the afternoon we went my mom's side reunion and then the girls and took a nap! Once up from naps and refreshed we went to venture to the MOA for some rides and fun and then dinner (WELL that was the plan)!
Here is our eventful evening...to say the least! The MOA plan came unglued...
1. Our original plan was to see if Madison would go on any youngster rides. After we got there and realized that EVERYONE and their mother was at the Mall of America around 3:30pm on Saturday and we decided that she needs another year to really appreciate those rides! We knew what would happen...she would get to the ride and when it either was time to start or in the middle of it she would panic and WANT to get off. So plan A did not work...on to the next...
2. So then we thought...hey lets go to the Under Water World. We go up the elevator and see that both girls are free (SWEET) and then see how much the adults cost...19.00 dollars a person. Madison won't touch animals...she loves to look at them but for some reason gets scared. So we thought its not worth it yet...maybe another year. So plan B was out...
3. So then we decide to go eat at the Rainforest Cafe! Only a 25 min wait...not bad. We go around to the store part and she is afraid of the animals...yes we have that child who is afraid of things...what a sally :) We then decide to stop at a store next to the restaurant and then it pretends to thunder and lightning...OH MY GOSH! I even got very startled...that was a BIG lets cancel the reservations...I can see us eating dinner and the lightning and thunder start and both kids come unglued...yippee...NOPE!!!
4. SOOOOOOOO then its about 5:30ish and said well lets go get the cake and stop and pick up something that Madison wants! Madison really loves Tacos and hamburgers. We ask her the whole car ride to Sam's and she kept saying Tacos, Tacos, Tacos...so we get it for her...its her birthday!!! This girl loves her fiesta potatoes and soft shell taco. She and Avery didn't go to bed till about 8:30-9pm. It was a LONG night...but it was fun and Madison had a good day! We got her a toilet seat, big girl underwear, two shirts and a pair of pants...AND a birthday party!!!!
OH and the good news was that Avery and Madison slept till 5am...no middle night wake ups...and Madison went back to sleep for a bit and finally woke at 5:45am!
