I had enough of the pacers in the house.
1. Both girls are too attached
2. I can never find them
3. And they are just a pain in the rear :)
So with discussions with friends and family...the Pacer Fairy was my next step!
For the last 3 weeks we have been talking to Madison about the Pacer Fairy coming. She would gather all her pacers and put them in a jar and then Pacer Fairy would come and take all the pacers and bring them to the babies that need them. In return for the pacers, the Pacer Fairy would leave a gift for both kids.
Madison was SO excited and was talking about it all the time. Friday we decided that we were going to make a card for the Pacer Fairy. Madison did a great job painting it and coloring it! She was very proud. That night she put all the pacers it bin and off to bed both kids went. We kinda went along the same line as the Pacer Fairy comes down the chimney...like Santa!
Night 1: GREAT! Avery had a rough time for about a couple minutes but then was fine. Madison was good!
Day 2: Madison was so happy with her presents and Avery loved hers too. I don't think Avery really knows whats going on but she doesn't have a choice :) haha!
Nap time was a little hairy! Madison had a little/big melt down. She was fighting going to bed and kept asking for her pacer! Of course TJ, Madison and myself were in a battle for about 40 minutes but she finally fell asleep. Both did not take a long nap but hey they lasted one nap with out a pacer. Its a start.
Night time went really well. There was no crying or fighting or asking for the pacer. I am just hoping that it continues.
Anyways I am proud of the girls for doing so well.
