He decided for his birthday and his love for me that we went to the State Fair!
I LOVE the State Fair. On my side, we used to go every year! My lovely Grandma and Grandpa started the tradition :)
I missed the last 5 years and needed the fix :-)
We packed up the Suburban with the girls, stroller, diaper bag and 5 adults! We got to the Fair at 8:30am and that was a perfect time! It was not crowded and the weather was perfect. Not hot and sunny and not cold and rainy. The girls had a blast looking at all the animals. Avery kept wanting to see the puppies and was convinced and excited to see the sheep because she thought they looked like dogs...it was hilarious!
Madison and I went down the big slide and was really fun. I actually got air and was a little surprised by how fast we were actually going! We went to the kid midway and Madison had SO much fun on the rides! She was a hit...full of smiles and people flocked to watch how excited she got. She was a hoot! Madison and Avery split a big corn dog, lemonade and had a couple cookies! We tried cheese curds, cookies and deep fried pickles and a dairy barn strawberry rhubarb sundae! Sami got a delicious wine ice cream and Shelbie got mini donuts. There are too many choices and never can decide on what to get...but what we did try it was amazing! We got home at about 12:30 and then went out for a late lunch/dinner! We had some yummy cake and watched a movie to end a great Tuesday and a great birthday for TJ!
Oh and us ladies went on the crazy ride that spins up in a big circle by the midway...it was SOOO much fun and so glad we all decided to do it! TJ enjoyed his time watching us. He says as he has gotten older, he can't do rides anymore...haha!
