New addition to the Kvilhaug Clan

As if we don't have enough people in our house we decided to add to our clan. I think we got puppy fever after TJ's brother and my brother have recently got puppies. TJ felt he was ready to train another lab after Diesel's passing a couple years ago. He found a breeder up north that had MY requirements (white lab and a female) and put a deposit on a puppy.

We decided on a name after lots of debates...LOLA Jean Kvilhaug. Yes, if you are wondering TJ sings the song...'Copacabana' song by Barry Manilow! Haha

We got to pick her up 1 week ago. Shelbie was such a great person to come and tag along with the girls and I while we picked her up. Of course when we leave it is freezing rain. On our way home it was a blizzard conditions...lets just say the ride home was TERRIBLE!!!!!!! If that was a sign on how it is going to be...I may be moving out ;-) hahahaha!

She is small and adorable and full of spunk. She is a good puppy but HORRIBLE at bed time...so far! She is pretty good during the day...only had a few accidents in a week and getting better at ringing the bell to go outside. When it comes to bed time...OH MAN, she is NOT so much of a fun time. Like clock work...every two hours she needs to go outside (she does not drink or eat anything past 7pm) and then around 4-5am she is READY to play. She is only 8 weeks old so I know it is part of a puppy and will grow out of it but it's not a joy :-)

She is getting more lovey dovey and it is fun to see her personality shine. The girls love her and Lola doesn't seem to be bothered by the girls or their toys. In the first day or two, Lola didn't care too much for Avery. Avery is LOUD at everything she does and loves to run in the house. Lola thought she was crazy and was a bit scared of her. Now she isn't even phased by the two other crazy girls running around. She loves to play with Brooklyn and sometimes my old princess doesn't want to play but handles it very well! Brooklyn enjoys Lola I think only for all the bones she gets and treats Lola gets. Because, if you give one to Lola, you have to give one to Brooklyn. It's all about sharing...especially when it comes to Momma's princess ;-)
