Happy 6 months Avery Elizabeth

Avery 1 day old!

6 MONTHS OLD!!!

Avery is 1/2 way to her first birthday. Holy crap! Its gone by fast and slow at the same time. She was a tough for the first 4-5 months. The last couple months she has been great!

• She is wearing mostly all 9 month clothing...only a couple 6 month clothes fit her. She is in 12 month pj's at this moment! She is tall drink of water!
• She is eating all baby food now and has even tried some table food. She prefers cereal and baby food right now! She actually loves to have small bites of cheerios and those cereal puffs for babies.
• She is now sitting up and playing with toys! She is giggling a lot and now making some crazy weird smiles...its too funny...see the pics for yourself!
• She is wanting to crawl but not quite getting it yet. She will get on her knees but ends up scooting backwards. She is a HUGE mover in the crib. She is all over in that thing.
• She continues to still be a BIG hand sucker, which means...DROOL Machine. Also a BIG spitter upper! Some days are better than others, but some are NOT fun! She basically always smells of formula! But I love it :)
• She is a BIG momma's girl, which I secretly love (sometimes)!
• She is starting to talk a lot...nothing too specific but I think I have heard Dada come out a couple times. Let me tell you this if she says Dadda before Momma...I will NOT be a happy camper! :)
• Her big sister, Madison Jo, loves her to pieces but gets quite jealous of her! She has never actually intentially hurt her yet but sure has yanked toys out of her hand. We are working on sharing ALL of Madison's toys :)
• She WAS sleeping through the night for about 3-4 weeks but since last weekend she decided to wake up numerous times. I believe she is teething. Let me tell you no matter how cute she is I HATE teething more than anything! Its just a pain in the butt and there isn't anything that we can do for her except lather on some Orajel and Tylenol...and of course hope and pray it doesn't last too long!
• She is already in a big girl car seat and is doing great in it!

Of course when I was taking pictures of Avery this morning Madison HAD to be in the picture too! She was laying in bed and didn't want to wake up today and this was the ONLY thing that would get her out :) She is a DORK but love it!
